I’m rerunning the test now and will also try FakeFlashTest and ChkFlash. Any suggestions appreciated. So I wondered if actually the card is ok but the scan is faulty. If it was faked (as in either Amazon was duped, or someone returned a fake to them and they sent it to me in error) I would expect to see say 3.8gb ok/132 gb lost. The parts in red are what are throwing me out. Code 23)Ġ KByte slightly changed (< 8 bit/sector, 0 sectors)įirst error at offset: 0x0000000000aa0000 Unfortunately, not all use-cases are compatible with BAT files, which is where BAT to EXE. BAT (or batch) files are essentially a list of commands that are executed in sequence, saving the user the effort of typing each command out in turn. The first is the Quick Size Test it will check your drive and report the actual capacity and warn if the drive is fake - this test is destructive and the author states that you WILL lose files. If the malware is not related to a running process (i.e. BAT to EXE Converter, as the name suggests, is a free tool for converting BAT files into EXE files. FakeFlashTest includes two tests, and due to the nature of these tests, we strongly recommend backing up all data stored in the test subjects. Connect the flash drive to your computer Run H2testw as administrator Choose 'English' as language 'Select Target' and choose your USB flash drive Click on 'All Available Space' 'Write+Verify' Wait for the tool to scan the capacity of the flash drive The test can take several hours but the results are reliable.

So I thought this was a safe trusted seller. Scanning in safe mode prevents some types of malware from running so it may be missed during the detection process. I just got a 128gb Sandisk micro sd from (from their own ‘warehouse deals’', not a 3rd party reseller). Anyone out there with the Sandisk 128gb micro sd and have run h2testw_1.4 successfully on it? I would like to confirm it is compatible.
